New Nine Month Weekend Course 2008

This year Kathleen is hosting her Nine Month Foundations program in a weekend format. This will make this incredible program that much more accessible. We will journey through the seasons, beginning in March and learn the foundations to holistic, herbal medicine. While most of the time will be spent in the gardens planting, tending and harvesting the medicines, we will also learn kitchen apothecary recipes such as syrups, salves, tinctures and more. Guest teachers will provide a broad array of topics. There will be one field trip to Robbie Wooding’s Herb Farm in May. Students will learn basic anatomy and physiology that will be the basis for home health care. Students are asked to make the commitment to all weekends. Aside from the great information that is exchanged, there is a deep honoring that we have for community and the circle that forms. This is integral for a successful program.

Fee for nine weekends, camping or lodging for Saturday night and all materials is $2100.00. Class will begin Saturday at 9am – 9pm, Sunday 9am – 3pm
