Heritage Harvest Festival

Sacred Plant Traditions is honored to be a sponsor of the Heritage Harvest Festival. Kathleen will be teaching two classes this year, one on native plants as medicines and another on how to make simple medicines such as tinctures, salve and oils. She will also be there representing United Plant Savers and their work at preserving endangered native medicinal plants and how to creat a UpS botanical sanctuary.

This is a family-oriented, educational event designed to promote healthy gardening practices and the preservation of heirloom plants from the Mid-Atlantic region. The event takes place at Tufton Farm- one of Thomas Jefferson's original Albemarle County farms about two miles from Monticello.
